The Austerity of Hope is a new play by Dan Fingerman, that will debut at the 9th Annual Fresh Fruit Festival in July 2011. Dan Dinero will direct, and the show will be produced by Elyssa Rabinowitz.
Performance dates will be: Monday, July 18th at 5PM; Tuesday, July 19th at 8:45PM; Thursday, July 21st at 9PM; and Saturday, July 23rd at 3:30PM. All performances will be at The Barrow Group Theatre, 312 West 36th St. (off 8th Ave).
ABOUT THE PLAY
Set in Astoria, three gay men in their 20s struggle with the changes that occur in their relationships, careers and lives. The election of Obama serves as a backdrop.
