Scott Sapphire and the Emerald Orchid is the first in a new series, and like a passing of the torch, Jack Stone, from the Fathom's Five series, is there in the first chapter to introduce Scott Sapphire, international thief with a passion for chocolate and handsome men.

Scott is like a modern Robin Hood, all he and his friends are stealing is sold to make money to finance various charity organization, and so, Scott is also the perfect gentleman, unless you are not threating his friends.

With Jack is only a passing fling, but Scott will find his love interest, a CIA agent who is trying to arrest the same man from which Scott is trying to run away. But of course, before meeting Tom, Scott will have the chance to sample all the delicatessen the various countries he is visiting are offering, from Venice to Paris to the Cote d’Azur, all through the Amazon Forest, it seems that Scott is always able to find good chocolate and perfect men, and while he is generous in bed with the men, it’s better they are not trying to eat his chocolate, he can kill if you steal the chocolate from him.

The story is a whirlwind of adventures and places, all of them described to the perfect details, especially the Venice one, and well, I can tell. If you like a good adventure romance, with a light but not stupid undertone, glamorous settings and clever humour, and why not, handsome men who enjoy decadent pleasures (what do you think I’m referring to? Of course it’s the chocolate!) then Scott Sapphire is the new series you will love. If not for the astronomic budget, this would be a perfect story to be moved into a movie, and a series that both men and women would love.

Scott Sapphire is a little less troubled than his predecessors of the Fathom's Five series, even if he hadn’t an easy life when he was a kid, there is an aura of childish joy around him, like everything is a big game and he is enjoying every bit of it. And he is so cute that is impossible not to fall for him. And I liked that he is not selfish with his feelings, Scott is able to say I love you if he feels like it.
