2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Murder at Leisure Lakes

Murder at Leisure Lakes by B.J. Phillips

This book was a pleasant surprise. The story moves along nicely, the mc are interesting and well developed. The writing is engaging and at times witty. Great setting among the snow-birds. Bonus: mc over 40. A cozy mystery which could have had a sharper end.

2020-2021 Rainbow Awards Honorable Mention: Chaos in Milan (Night Flyer Trilogy #3)

Chaos in Milan (Night Flyer Trilogy #3) by Edale Lane

Chaos in Milan was pure joy to read. This novel is a fun adventure, a decadent romance, a shadowy intrigue of puzzles, riddles, and secret societies, all topped off with powerful and complex heroines. And best of all, Chaos in Milan is a journey through a rich setting so artfully described that I felt like I was there in that exciting time in history. Thank you for the chance to read this fantastic tale!

Must Love Demons (Magic Emporium #6) by Meghan Maslow:

This was by far my favorite book this round to date. The pace of story and attention to advancing plot kept me intrigued. I was drawn into the characters lives and found myself invested in the ending.
