Catherine O’Brien & Glenda Griswold

Peas 'N' Pod was established in 1996 by business partners Catherine O'Brien and Glenda Griswold. Both have extensive backgrounds in the catering business and have served the needs of many discerning clients.

Catherine O'Brien received her formal chef's training and earned her Culinary Degree with high honors from Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. Some of Catherine's 25 years of experience include Executive Chef of the University Club in Baltimore, Maryland, Chef Garde Manger at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida and Corporate Catering Chef for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

Glenda Griswold brings over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry to Peas ‘n Pod. Her credentials include In-House Catering Director at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. and General Manager of several fine dining establishments along the eastern seaboard. Her experience includes professional interior design, and her elegant sense of style is evident in every Peas ‘n Pod engagement.

TerraCotta Wine Bistro is a smart casual food and wine restaurant located in the historic district of downtown Santa Fe, New Mexico, in a charming 19th century adobe building near the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. This unique Santa Fe restaurant features globally -inspired food, wine and beer, utilizing local and regional foods. The ambiance is inviting, informal, up-beat, and just plain fun – great for intimate or large gatherings. Best of all, we are moderately priced.

TerraCotta is the inspiration of Catherine O’Brien and Glenda Griswold. Catherine O’Brien and Glenda Griswold have often been encouraged by their many catering customers to open a restaurant so that more people could enjoy their unique style of food and presentation. In true Santa Fe tradition, the ‘stars aligned’ and the timing, location and concept for TerraCotta Wine Bistro all came together. Given their collective and successful 75 years in the food service business, along with their passion for traveling around the world enjoying interesting foods, good local wines and fun people, this bistro emerged as a natural progression.
