The Rainbow Awards: The Game is On!

Some of you already noticed, even if I posted only on my front page and not on my friends page (to not bother too much my friendslist...). Anyway the game is on, the Rainbow Awards tournament started! In this first phase, for a month, you can vote as many titles and authors you like, please only don't vote ALL the titles and authors ;-)

You can also enter new titles, if the one you liked is not listed. Next week I will repost the Categories, this time in order of classification, so you will see how the game is going. I will save all the votes in an external file and only at the end of the month you will see who are the 10 finalists for each category.

In this moment I'm enlisting the jury, I will not unveal yet the names, but be sure, they are all skilled readers ;-) They will have the hard task to read all the winners for each category and vote the all together winner of this 2009 Rainbow Awards... wish them good luck.

So, what are you waiting? Go vote!

What qualifies?
Hi, just thought maybe you could clarify what/who qualifies for a nomination. I.e., published or open-web, and if only published, does self-publication count?

I don't particularly care either way, only think it'd be worth knowing just what the list represents.

Thank you for spearheading this, it is a lot of work and a wonderful answer.

My only gripe is that apparently the authors I am best read in are all judging - :p

Is a great list for future reading tho. :)

Thnx again.

ETA: oh, and is it only work published this past year? More? Is there a limit? Sorry for being a pain in the butt. :)

Re: What qualifies?
I think maybe most of the answer are here:

More or less it qualifies releases from September 2008 to August 2009, first time in ebook or print, or first time in print if previously released only as ebook, or re-print from a different publisher.

And I forgot: ask anything you like or need to know, no worries.

I goofed
I meant to put Hunters Dawn: Laying the Ghosts by Meg Leigh in the paranormal and I put it in the comedy not paying attention. Sorry about that. AKM
